Excellent.

Stephen 'HeadShot' Badham here, you're freindly local SHAEF liaison!

You may recognise me from such airdrops as Normandy and the recent and ongoing Market/Garden. I may have some 'jobs' for you honest, decent hardworking citizens of Arnhem.

I'll be in contact again soon.

Is that so you can live out your fantasy of having a wrestler name? :)

Just out of curiosity what actually going to happen with all this info? From what I've gathered I've half a mind not to fire a single shot all game and just wander around... putting right what once went wrong... and hoping each time that my next Leap...will be ...... oh

:D

It was a reference to the 'colditz story' where they ask for volunteers to work for the germans and nobody volunteers except one frenchman.

They ask him if he' ssure he wants to work for the reich and he replies

' I would rather work for ten germans athan one frenchman'

they ask him his trade and he says:

"undertaker"

I could always be an undertaker if you wanted. Means that I won't have to mess around finding butcher stuff (the cleaver is proving to be a bastard with no credit card): Just dress entirely in Black. :P

Mixing genres, I'll walk past and order three coffins, then when I walk back the other way say that you'd better make it four.

Reaper - You could be BOTH the butcher and Undertaker.
... And they wondered why the butcher shop was full and the coffin so light :P

I was more looking at LARP ones. ;) But I guess that could put my model painting skills to the ol' test. :P

Apparently I've been given honourary membership of the Dutch Resistance forum by HeadShot. I feel my heritage might have something to do with it.

Though the only family member who did anything illegal spent a most of the war in prison for smuggling ;)

I might not be a know-it-all about the Dutch Resistance or Dutch Civilian life in WW2, but I'll do my best to answer your queries.

But you're Dutch though, which makes you at least 50% more qualified than the rest of us!

Thought you might be able to throw some useful taal our way too.

I'll be the town cobbler, Jan Oosterwijk.

Considering making up a latex/foam clawhammer for the occaision after cleavers were mentioned...

I make my business by doing shoddy repairs on german jackboots, saving the good leather and nails for my countrymen.
