Just a quick question should anyone have the knowledge or reference to confirm,
Colour of waffenfarbe for fallsy panzer units?
I know that the Herman Goring Division was white but they were more attached to lufty field division, so question is would yellow still be the correct colour for fallschirmpanzer units?
thanks for any help
I thought that Herman Goering was the only Fallschirmpanzerdivision with actual Luftwaffe tank battalions?
There were some Luftwaffe assault gun battalions. Not sure about the crews of airfield defence panzers though.

I think Martin is right, I've never heard of FJ panzer units only assualt gun brigades.
The Herman GΓΒΆring Regt (later Division) were part of the Luftwaffe, but were not FallschirmjΓΒ€ger and were not part of Luftwaffe Feld Division, who again were another separate unit. HG wore white Waffenfarbe, LWFD wore green. FJ wore yellow, obviously, and did not have any Panzer units.
What obscure unit are you wanting to portray, Kieron?
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

" FJ wore yellow, obviously, and did not have any Panzer units."
Although confusingly HG's full name was Fallschirm-Panzer Division 1(Herman Goering). It was more the case that panzer division Goering had attached FJ units within it for a while.
The idea of parachuting tanks always amused me although it didn't become a Fallschim unit until April 1944, it was various variations of Regiment/Brigade/Division Goering before that.
