The one I got today is 'dual-purpose' - top marks to Anthony and his bunker of kit.

If you ever get the chance - drop by his place :D

Hey mightyjebus - welcome to the right place to be lol

your kit sounds fine - your question regarding insignia - do you mean attached to the Fliegerbluse or the 'bonesack'(jumpsmock)?

If jumpsmock - you need nothing.

For Fliegerbluse - you'll need correct collar waffenfarbe rank patches, rank dependant 'gulls', appropriate shoulder or arm rank insignia.

Which rank do you with to wear? From that information i can point you in the 'right' way.

Ok prolly best the most senior your badge up as is gefreiter (2 eagles per collar waffenfarbe patch, un ein single arm rank chevron - when playing CiA based games. CiA games assign NCO's and Officer's depending on gameplay etc.

If you wish to serve within the 2nd FRJ Fallschirmjager rgt (no commitment required, it's an open house) I'm sure you'll be required to wear either a metal or cloth version of the Fallschirmjager qualification eagle. Ask LARDASSMONKEY - he know's he has to wear appropriate insignia lol :)

Or you could join Meindl's Mentalists - 21. FD(L)! I'll have some pics up - probably this weekend - of that loadout! :D

Mine was in the post - cheeky monkey! Anyway, Herr Major decorated me with a metal one - which is now free for anyone else who needs it.

Yes, kiss goodbye to any money you earn! Will be good to see a picture - there's a thread for that in the General forum. And don't worry - it's not a case of being "good enough" or anything like that - people will only offer advice if you ask for it. :)

Amen to that. I end up building entire impressions round one bit of kit bought off the cuff. Like my Heer uniform (M38 feldmutze) and LFD (smock)! It's the best hobby in the world, though!

Looking good mate. I found the BCH not too bad with thick socks, and not done up too tightly - unlike the first time I wore them, and yes they were a bit sore on the shins!

I wear a size up from what I normally would. They are loose on the foot so I wear 2 pairs of socks but means they're fine around the leg.

Good point, Click. From what I've seen, usually one was worn, and on the other side would be a holster and pistol.

My point of view is that practicality out ways historical accuracy in Airsoft. If you need to carry 12 lowcap MP40 mags then you should do so. I carry the standard 2x3 mag pouches and usually it's not enough.

I am a poor marksman though!

In the last game you were a grobag, though, so it figures. Leave it to the riflemen, sir!
