SSFrontSoldat it seems you have forgotten and broken the 1st rule of CiA, does it not?

If I have a bone to pick with someone I will take the fight to them.
In this case, please do not confuse the messanger with the message. I believe my intention was honest (and very naive) to bring to this forums attention what I heard rumored by other skirmishers.
It was interesting to hear WHY a few skirmishers were against going to CiA events.
Trying to put across the type of conversations I had when chaps were comparing Gunman and CiA events can be damn difficult.....as if I have the problem/am making problems.....?????? I xcould not correct them as they have been to both CiA and Gunman games....not me unforetunately...I will though rectify this in no uncertain way......
I have a loyalty to the CiA as one of its members....but next time, truly....I'll leave the rumors to get to the forums ears the hard way.
Please do not attribute any ill intention when I'm trying to help. That is not helpful.......I have been insulted enough........

Thankyou. We're well aware of what some others think of CiA, even though many of them haven't even been to a CiA game. We're also aware that there are some who will spread lies about us, to put off players. So, there's no need for you to bring it up and cause yourself grief .
To those who spread mistruths about us, yet are happy to take up our server space, I only have to say that you're not the kind pf players we seek anyway! I just think it's a rather cowardly way of boosting your own ego's by slagging others off behind their backs.
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Don't forget SSFrontSoldat, the Comrades in Arms forum caters for ALL WW2 airsoft players, no matter what events they go to or what kit they happen to own. That is to say this is a hub of the WW2 airsoft community and it serves to bring something to everyone and anyone.
Separate from this Comrades in Arms themselves, apart for providing the community forum, also organise three or four games a year, aimed at a specific section of the WW2 community. And there are several other organisers (of which Gunman is one) who run their own events and advertise this in the forum for the benefit of all.
Players like different styles of events, they have the free choice to pick and choose (and they are lucky to be able to do so). CiA events are unashamedly 'hard work' events for those that like things 'realistic' and 'authentic' (I put those in quote since they are relative and subjective terms) and try to recreate times past. Other organisers put on games that have a different perspective. Quite honestly, those that don't understand the CiA ideals are unlikely to enjoy an event anyway so there is little point bad-mouthing the games, just don't book and stick to what you like!

Thanks mate......seriously didn't mean to step on toes......I personally wish to shortly join you chaps at the battlefront as a first timer...and then beable to help others gain a more balanced view of the CiA games versus others. I solidly agree with you on the point that everybody has a free choice to pick and choose where and when and with whom they want to play.

Thanks mate.....I will leave it to you pro's in future to deal with.......
PS: I told the chaps that I was going to 'raise the issue' reagarding the conversations (negative in this case) with the CiA Forum members, and they were fine with that....one still jokingly said nothing would come of it....so no cowardly backstabbing to inflate ego here......I am too blunt and candid for that and have enough self-esteem. I clearly understand that its better to leave sleeping dogs alone...and let those in charge handle the issue if it becomes important enough too. Please delete any comments that take up unneccessary server space....thanks once again.

Well something has come of it.
1. You now realise that that there is a reason why things are as they are. It is impossible to organise an event that will appeal to everyone. CiA don't even try, we'd much rather have an event where everyone is on the same wavelength. Why waste a couple of hundred man-hours organising an event you don't like? And dare I speak for others and say the same goes for AGS/PBI/Wladek/Dougboys etc events.
2. There is not and never has been an anti-SS/peadot/MP44 vibe on this forum or at any event organised by anyone. But that some events are more concerned with recreating the past than having a blat is silly costumes (all have fun dressing up - as you say) and hence SS/US/Brit/FJ/Japanese/Russian attire would be inappropriate in particular scenarios.
3. Repeating someone else's unsubstantiated and inaccurate remarks on a forum won't win anyone any friends, which is a pity as the CiA forum takes great pride in being a friendly place. As all WW2 airsoft events are, true to say.
We don't or never have done do SISKs nothing wrong with them just not our bag..........(look it up).
We do try to get people to get a real flavour of life in the 1940s, whether making camps , fighting battles or just being a soldat/ GI , Tommy in the field . It's what we started up to do and fours years on it's getting better event on event . And we like to have some fun and humour too
