Gents, my project "geballte Ladung" is finished.

I thought it is a nice add on for a Sturmpionier.
Unfortunately there will be no vehicles at Foy as they been heavily used to disabled tanks at least from what I have read. bunkers might be a good target as well or maybe we will just scare the sh... out of some allies :D

I built extra grenade heads out of toilet paper rolls. So grenade does not have bigger impact, just looks like it.
I am quite new to the airsoft world and I heard several time that self made pyro would not be permitted. Would this fall under it?
It can be assembled in the field using one stick grenade.
Any ideas?-- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available --

Very nice Lutz :good:

I dont think you should have any problems using it as the actual grenade is a TLSF stick grenade with toilet roll additions. I think the rule more applies to people trying to make there own grenades/explosives.

As long as everything is made from cardboard so shrapnel will not do damage should be ok, run it by Josh just to be sure :good:

What German kit are you coming in Heer or SS?

If you are coming as SS then you are more than welcome to join the HQ zu Hohenstaufen :D

love the adapted stick grenades Luiluei , I'd have a fit if one of those landed at my feet.

Mmmh, now i wonder, if i should get some bags as well. But what do we fill them with? It looks like pioneers are allowed much more grenades per life 6 or 7. Looking at our numbers, we just blow our way through the lines.
I dont know how many you have on stock but would it make sense to buy a box to share? Same thing with mortar. Anyone know, if Josh lets us use it. What about the ammo for this one?

If you haven't already got Pionier bags, I wouldn't bother - not all troops had them.

The 'engineer' role in Joshs game is a very specific one, he often limits how many there are. The most I've ever seen in a single game are three (and I was one of them). We are just infantry with different shoulderboards, although I imagine a few of us could do the 'engineer' thing. I have never yet cleared a minefield without blowing myself up on at least one mine.

My pioniere impression will basically be just to carry a ton of junk around with me, as usual.

Cheapo pioniere options might be a roll of wire? Or maybe just a shovel!

Cheers
Martin

If anyone wants to carry a pionier shovel into combat I have one with correct leather carrier. Works well with the pionier backpack which I can also loan out.

I'll be carrying a pionier axe and Andy as NCO will be carting around the small wire cutter pouch ( he doesn't know this yet) :giggle:

For whoever is going to be the MG gunner, I have the MG gunners pouch and nice and reliable P38 NBB pistol in a holster as a personal weapon for them.

This should be the first event where we have a really pukka looking pionier zug :happyclap:

I may well be up for one or both of those. I like carrying too much stuff.

Does the pioniere shovel replace the e-tool or do you carry both? I assume the backpack clips on the Y straps or does it have its own straps?

Nice one Martin! :good:

I think you would have the shovel instead of the e-tool, you would just retain the bayonet.

Backpack attaches to the Y's exactly the same way as the A-frame does.

Detailed nicely here:

Woo, what a cool bit of kit. Looks rather more sensible for storage of mess tins and zelts (and sandwiches) than the A frame as well

I see the shovel straps to the side, well that is going to be very convenient. Not.

OK, sign me up for this particular bit of lunacy. I'll bring my camera so it can all be recorded for posterity.

Cool, I have a dummy 3kg charge to go in the bottom and a could of working large distress smokes to go on the upper pocket which might be useful for assaults! Can you get a sandwich box the same size as a 3kg charge?

If a 3kg charge is the same size as a British Army mess tin (my usual 'sandwich box'), then yes.

3kg charge dimensions are 19.5cm x 16.4cm x 7.6cm so your mess tin should fit nicely! :good:

Just give him a 3 Kg weight, for authenticity's sake. :giggle:

If he wants to take food rather than explosives give him a stollen to carry. Authentically weighty and it is Christmas. :giggle:
