Size 11 is pretty tiny, i can just squeeze into a size 13 BD blouse.
Differences in blouse:
essentially 49 is liek a hybrid of 37 and 40 pattern.
Biggest difference is its tailored to be worn open wiht a shirt and tie and looks daft buttoned right up, so its only really suitable for officers impressions or under a jerkin, putting a new collar on is difficult.
37 pat has pleated pockets and all buttons are fly covered. Buttons are brass.
40 pat deleted the pleats to save fabric, all buttons are exposed to save fabric, buttons are i beleive compressed fibre or bakelite
49 pat had pleated breadt pockets and exposed breast buttons but a covered central fly.
So you have two options really, make new cuffs and pocket flaps or expose all buttons, unpick the pockets, iron out the pleats and resew them,
Differences in trousers.
49 pattern torusers delelted the first field dressing poocket foundon 37 and 40 pattern trousers and the map pocket is moved form the front of the thigh to the side. I think the rear pockets may be moved to, big giveaway os the map pocket and FFD pocket. IIRC the buttons are exposed on 49 pat trouser pockets but covered on the fly.
However for airsofting it looks ok to leave it as it is.

Ok what are the differences between 47 patt and 37/40 pattern tunics, are they easly converted and lastly would people be interested in getting one(May be able to get my hands on some size 11's)

bollogs if indeed you do mean 46 or 47 pattern then i believe thay are quite rare and were made in small numbers-would leave them as they are but as Gadge says 49 patt are convertible-dont look 100% but hey,this is Airsoft nit reenacting so will be great-and cheap

I'd be interested in it Yith, if bollogs doesn't want it (providing postage and token amount). I've always wanted to convert one ala-Gadge, so I've started to do the 40patt to my existing one and would love another size 13 for having a go at the more difficult 37patt conversion
