IED are running a day game in February up at the site we used for CR. It's modern day scenario, however they are looking for Chetchen rebels . Having had a chat with Ed at IED , he's more than happy for people from our forum going in WWII soviet or Partisan type kit, so maybe a chance for a first try out of the new loadouts for those who've got em . I'll be there in my civvy rebel gear as well . Anyone up for it ?

Booking thread is here

That could be doable. I doubt I'll know for sure until the new year but certainly something to aim for. Should have my sniper gear all sorted by then.

No longer involved in airsoft.

Had a few chats with people about this on Sunday, so another plug / more info

Single day event £20

Play Russian /Rebel , wear WWII kit , get to know each other/ play together up at IED , got to be worth a thought ! Also you'd be playing against all the ex squaddie crew , so it'll be intense and very Milsim . We'll hopefully outnumber them , which'll make it fun !

No idea what Chechen rebels actually look like but here's our kind of civvy effort.

Note - not in Kit Pic Thread because not WWII.

Heh, Gadge can't compete with the IKEA twigs in the hallway!

Love the Dragonov Anne (and I think Barrie is snarling - it might just be the heavy helmet).

Woo, what are you pair like!

Just for the record - we have never been to IKEA and I have been campaigning to lose those stupid twigs for years but Anne won't have it.

Anne's Dragunov is a wood kit plus cycling bolt whatsit which she spent £400 on about six months before the chinese ones came out, doh!

Thanks for the comments all.

we have never been to IKEA

..and it sounds like you never will! I have been dragged round there and I was tickled a couple of years ago when every other trolley at the checkout had a bundle of twigs!

And a spurious smily for the Chechens :mexican:

Was a good event, was fun to see oddball get shot by one of his own team who thought he was a Russian
