Hi guy's just wondering if any one has used or has knowledge of this company.ANT-Z MILITARY they are on Ebay.

Yes, quite a bit.
1st, dont buy their pea dot. Its bloody horrible. There are much better versions, RAU/Gavin militaria for one.
There are a couple of issues people have;
a] the colour of the field grey wool. It is to the lighter end of the scale, acceptable but it often really shows when any photos are converted to black and white.
b] The trousers can be cut rather low in the waist, more like jeans than '40s period high waisted trousers. If you are not used to period trousers it wont bother you but they bug the hell out of me. I cant wear them. I get told every year or so that they have improved this aspect of their patterns. Every year or so I buy a pair just to check. Not noticed an improvement yet.
The cut of the tunics isnt that bad, quite good actually. Like many of the Chinese makers they sometimes get it horribly wrong though. If you stick to the simple stuff, wool feldbuse in M40, M42 or M43 styles and their drillich looks quite good, you wont be far off. I cant recommend the current M37 it seems to be a very odd colour.

I was thinking about a pair of the FJ wool trousers if I can win them cheap enough. If not will just go with some underwoods or epic ones.
thanks.

If you can get them cheaply then what will it matter under a smock. Dont forget to factor in the £16 odd quid he is charging for shipping though.

The postage is the thought behind getting them cheap enough to make it worth it's while. From what you've said it could just be a color issue, maybe. I'll put a bid for the auction that finishes tomorrow night and see what happens.
thanks again.

The colour wont be an issue at all with jump trousers. Not really any other field grey wool for them to contrast against.
The colour is ok, not wrong, just close to one end of the spectrum I think.

My M36 tunic is Ant-Z, and I agree with Poacher, that it is quite light in colour (minty green), but for me, the cut is really nice.
I also have an HBT set, and again, I agree that the trousers are perhaps a bit low - although I don't know if the cut should be the same as wool or not? However, again, the cut of the tunic is good. I also have some Steingrau trousers, which are really good - no problem with a low waist at all - they are fine.

Yes, they should be the same cut as the wool version. I have 4 pairs of ant-z trousers of various designs and material, all are cut too low. You must have been lucky with the steingraus.

Thanks for the reply's guys, unfortunately I lost the auction by 99p as I was off working when it was ending. I'll give one more auction a go and if that don't work out I'll just go for the mentioned Underwood or Epic ones.

I ended up getting a pair of these, I emailed ANt-Z for a buy it now price and he let me have them for the same price as the winner. So they only worked out £46 with delivery. As above the length was good for me (long legged myself), I believe they come as 32 inch leg, they come high waisted and the finish is very good. The only thing I found not quite right was the position of the front braces buttons, they just seem too wide apart and the brace's loops are stretched to fit, but no major problem as I'm OK with a needle and thread. The color was more on the green side of grey/green but still looks right from all the pictures I've been looking at. Some shoots up in the Kit pics thread.
Thanks again for your help and advice guy's.

Did they come with the Hessen label in them?
I got two tunics, both HBT and both had the Hessen label.
The prize was the two pocket utility/fatigue jacket. Perhaps a little dark green but I'll bet it fades down. It's just a really comfortable coat, I've ordered the pants to go with it. Lets see if they have improved any. Ideal for around the camp dossing and no need for masses of insignia sewing.
The M43 drillich isnt bad, same very dark green but it's just pipped by the fatigue jacket. I think I'm going to badge it as KM Coastal Artillery.

No, they don't have a hessian label. But there's loops and eye holes in them that I can't seem to work out what there for
. I'll ask a couple of people when I'm at the Gunman Minsk game next month, no big problem I just want to know lol.
I do keep thinking of a getting a Heer loadout together and it wouldn't work out too dear doing through ANT-Z but
I have just found a guy that makes repo Beretta Model 38a stocks and I've spent the best part of today trying to work out what I need to make an airsoft version and if it was do-able.

Yer seen that set and that's were I just got my Luffty tropical shirt from which has just finished off, with a bayonet I've sorted, my FJ kit to what I think is a good standard. The Heer kit is more of an, I like the idea thought, at the moment, as this Beretta idea of mine is taking up my thoughts and will take up all my spare airsoft poket money
if I can sort parts etc.
