Check out Kermit's comprehensive guide on putting a German loadout together without spending a fortune!

Spearhead are highly recommended, my Re-enactment unit uses them as one of their suppliers. VERY good prices as well :)

Nice one. I got my cammo smock and cap from Spearhead - good quality and came very quickly from Singapore.

As an aside, I found it was all the bits and bobs that bumped up the kit cost disproportionately - insignia, shoulder boards and pips etc.

I know that they're probably not spot on, but it could be a start.

For me, that sums it all up beautifully. It's about creating the "atmosphere". Who cares if stuff aint 100%? it's about getting into the spirit of WW2 themed Airsoft !

Ebay link to some decent looking kit:

http://stores.ebay.com/Spearhead-Milita ... idZ2QQtZkm

Some nice stuff on there... but all rather confusing!

If I was to want to be the traditional grey suited German soldier with helmet... what would I need? And what about a cap... or is that for officers only?

I'm certainly not thinking of getting a uniform for the Dec event... but maybe for the future... (Though I still would prefer to play brit! :) )

When the AGM MP40 started to be available, I got one(the WGCShop one - without the RoF Selector) and a bundle of mags for it. Also bought a P08 Luger and 2 mags last week :D

I received my order from Spearhead last week also - type 1 FJ smock, type 3 splinter FJ smock, FJ Helmet and a M43 LW cap.

I need to get equipment, insignia, trousers and boots. Then I should be set.

Wow, that IS cheap! Wonder what size they are? Noone would know if it was sprayed feldgrau and an Oakleaf cover was on it!

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
