The cut of the tunics and trousers was different for each branch.
The SS had a vertical cut to the wrap over section and double buttons to the trouser pocket flaps.
Ties were only worn for best.
Footwear was jackboots, cut down jackboots or low boots, usually without studs or some studs.

Are you thinking of having this as a playable airsoft impression or as a drinking uniform?
If it's the former I'd think twice before spending any money. Others have been down this route before. There are very few places on a panzer crew uniform to stash all the stuff you'll need - mags, bbs, loaders, gas, pyro, jam sandwiches etc.
You can add extra infantry-style belt order to carry it all, but it then ceases to be an accurate panzer crew impression ![]()
A very good point B&H. The black Panzer uniforms were designed so there were few points on the uniform that could catch inside a tank. That equates to nowhere to stash stuff.
The Panzer denims are nowhere near as smart but do have huge pockets on the tunic and the trousers. They are usually in a 'reed green' shade but you can still wear black collar patches with skulls and pink piped boards. Set them off with a black cap of some type and you look every inch the Panzermann but have place for kit and a degree of camo. There is a splinter pattern tunic made by Sturm but it's not very accurate but it is quite cheap and has the large pocket. SoF have it for £30 TG401. SoF panzer uniform is the SS pattern even though they badge it as Heer. Their oak leaf wrap is Heer pattern even though they were an SS item. Another example of dont let the dealer do your research.
If you opt for SS then you can get the wrap in Pea dot or oak prints but face the same issue of no pockets and usually no insignia.

If it's for boozing in, go with black. It looks great.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Black was much more common than camouflage.
The field grey uniform is also known as the Stug wrap.
It was issued as a uniform for special duties in vehicles. Thus Stug crews, half track crews, Panzersjaeger crews and late on some Panzer Grenadiers got them.
It can be quite smart on it's own and there is a wonderful variety of insignia you can wear on one.
Red, pink, yellow, green and white perhaps even black waffenfarbe with all kinds of litzen and tabs.

With Chris' impression of Waffen SS Panzer uniform, wear black belt with EM waffen SS belt buckle.
Get an appropriate pistol and holster - Wullie's ur Uncle !!
That's black that is.
Regular belt and buckle per branch.

I'd go for a black M40 cap, they were allegedly popular as the lack of a peak meant they did not interfere with sights or vision block/periscopes.
An M43 type might be more practical for you as the sides drop down to keep ears warm at night.
Boots, wear what you feel comfortable in.

I have one the same.
Very good quality made by SMWholesale.
Pink piping was deleted from around the collar of the early type wraps and the SS stopped using colours other than white on the crusher and officer peaked caps.
The pink soutasche was also discontinued officially but continued to be worn by old hands.
The shade of pink was never really static. It shifts from a deep salmon to a light baby pink. Dont wory about it matching, pink is pink.
You need a bit more rank to be seen in a crusher. Mine is in the top photo pre-crushing. ![]()

my yellow top hat had to be crushed and stuck inside my wrap or just dumped on the floor when not worn

It's an ordinary soldiers cap. Yes, they were seen without the pink soutache mid war onwards.
When shot out of their vehicle it was the panzer mans duty to return to his unit for replacement vehicle or to replace a casualty in another vehicle. They are trained to fight in tanks not on their feet.
The training was expensive and they were considered wasted as infantry.
The limited weapons available in the tank were so they could defend themselves and exit the combat zone safely. One MP40 and a few mags wont get a whole crew very far in combat.

EDIT: Doh , CW beat me to it.
The training was expensive and they were considered wasted as infantry.
Although in some circumstances they were used at infantry. At Arnhem the bulk of 9th SS Panzer Regiment were employed as infantry as they didn't have any tanks.... (contrary to 'A Bridge Too Far') although their mates in 10th SS still had a few. All the remaining 9th SS tanks and panzerjaegers had been sent to KG Walther on the Dutch-Belgian border and the tanks and SPs which showed up during the battle came with crews of their own! (well, there were a few replacement vehicles from workshops, but 10th SS PR got those).

Same idea, different cuts for both branches.
SPG crews would wear red waffenfarbe as was usual for stug crews.
Panzerjaeger crews wore pink, often with a 'P' on the board.
Recon would wear yellow often with an 'A'. Recon had armoured cars and smaller half tracks along with bikes and combis.
Dont forget you can be really perverse and stick a lufty eagle on the black uniform with white waffenfarbe and do Herman Goering Panzer Div.
Panzer grenadier wore the field grey wrap with their pale green waffenfarbe.
Plenty of choice.

"Can anyone tell me if those are Heer or SS"
I'm pretty sure they are Heer, 116th Panzer Div was operating in the vicinity of Cologne and still had a fair number of Panthers in early 1945 (having been reinforced with Panzer Lehrs Panther Bn in Feb 1945, including a company of Jagdpanthers).
The SS Panzer Divs on the western front had all been withdrawn to fight in Hungary by then.
If you want an ultra-cool panzer look, then you might want to seek out some photos of Max Wuensche, commander of 12th SS Panzer Regiment. He favoured a rather jazzy splinter camo outfit, and there some very funny photos of him posing in the turret of his Panther in Mike Reynolds 'Steel Inferno', looking every inch the Aryan hero.

It is often thought it was a 116th Panther.
There are a few post action pictures that show the burnt tank sat before the Dom. The fire was so intense the markings are all but obscured.
If you have ever stood on the steps in front of the Dom, the Panther was just to your right near the Golden Arches.
