Eagle goes on the left and the skull on the front. Unless, of course, you have the trapezoid/trapezoid bevo type, which just goes on the front.

If you want to make it look the biz fold the peak in half.
This was done a lot so you could fold the cap in half and tuck it in your belt.
like this:
