Welcome, the lure of the dark side is strong. Now are you going for a specific time period?
mid late war i think im using the kit guide for my load
Hey Marsha, I just turned too.
Just remember German kit tends to multiply, very soon you'll end up about 5 of them. I'm up to 5 so far 7 uniforms if you count the 2 yank kits. Damn this hobby will the madness never end.

Good god I hope not...

I went for the M36, that was the one Sean was wearing, and means -I believe- you
can do any point of the war. Though I would one day like the M40 (is it the M40? the all fieldgrey one) as it has more of 'conscript' look about it - for some reason.
More targets to shoot at!

well the most ill spend is the maxium on the M40 tunic and trousers
ill be wearing gaiters and low boots as i cant bend my ankle into jackboots
that a better plan, by the mid to late war period, jackboots were not so common. low boots were predominat anyway. I'll be getting a set for my SS kit. See even when you think the german kit is finished, you find more bits to buy. I have just started on buying webbing for my new DAK kit. (shads cos its sunny in north Afrika)
Welcome to you both - any questions, just ask.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
Welcome to the dark side, webbing wise even though there is all sorts to buy you can keep it quite cheap for gaming, I normaly just have a belt, holster, ammo pouches & bread bag, in the bread bag I cary a modern water bottle & ammo, no real need for all the other bits at first, quite often in combat all the extra bits would get dummped, the gas mask tin can be usefull to carry food but I would rather travel light,

Nah, Full kit challange
nice one Marsha !
Absolute essentials:
Feldgrau
Belt & buckle
Headgear - helmet looks best, but M43 cap is acceptable - BeVo insignia, NOT wool!
Green gaiters (with short boots)
If you have belt hooks on the tunic, you could get away with not having Y-straps.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
Just thought that I would introduce myself as well. I have just got my m36 uniform, and the rest of my bits n' bobs will be brought at war and peace.
See you out there!
