My old dutch payed us a visit a while back, I showed her my collection of WW2 stuff and mentioned about the VCR bill to her, she stated that all guns should be banned in this country. I was slightly taken aback as she is normally fairly open minded.... so I shot her in the leg with my springer 1911 to show they weren`t that harmful. Harsh but fair I thought

Wasn't there this issue in America? With their Red Tip system? I heard a while back some gangs were painting the tips of their real guns red in order to evade detection. Mind you several guys running round with toy guns is gonna look suspicious.... oh wait...

Yup, painting red-tips on real shooters out in the US is a well known trick, and on top of this, there have been cases of entire guns being painted in bright colours to mimic the look of a cheap water pistol...
