I'm new to the whole WWII airsoft thang, I used to do a bit of English Civil War stuff with the Sealed Knot when I was younger, but am itching to give the WWII stuff a try. Unfortunately none of my buddies are this way inclined and I was wondering if there were many others in this position, or if the majority went in groups etc?
Either way I'll hopefully be down for Churchill's Revenge - if you see a lonely American airborne soldier wandering around looking lost please feel free to say hi 
Whereabouts are you mate, TBH the reason these event came around was to cater for the WWII players around the country who have no dedicated events to go to .
If you're down South, Steiner and a few of the boys try to "invade" open days en masse.
I think you'll find most go singly at the moment... we're a friendly bunch so its a good chance to socialise and stuff.... Don't worry!

I'm in Edinburgh, I've emailed Warren for info about Team Shoot N Scoot/The Hill. My problem is I'm reliant on public transport atm, however I work for myself so it's not to much of a problem to have a days travelling either side of an event that's at the other end of the country.

Goodstuff, no doubt I'll make a muppet of myself fairly early on which is always good for breaking the ice
