Track news great I was talking to Richard Walsh the argo dealer and he said the tracks would actually run better on concrete than the rubber because they will slip easier being nylon.
Did I get the picture right above or is it this one you are making?

If it has a turret we need to talk about turret ring ideas as I am at the point of needing to start mine.
I nearly cut the hole but am having a re-think!
Tank diagrams here http://www.suurland.com/blueprints.php? ... order=name

thanks for the links i,l have a good look tonight,
ye its the 1st pic you posted up,
rings, i,m a long way from that, i,v gota do the hull and thats going to be a right pain ![]()
i was offered it by a farmer down near glasgow, or rather by his daughter,
so i need to go down and see what it is, if i get it and its ok i may use it for a mini Hetzer,
but the humber comes first,
what are you going to fit for the gun mate ?
i was thinking aeg for the co-axial and possable a bolt action for the main gun ?
or a dummy co-axial and an aeg for the heavy 15mm machine-gun

A Mk1

A Mk4
http://tanxheaven.com/pvr/HumberMkIVArm ... redCar.htm
Couldn't find much of the mk2 turret, but the hulls are the same.
Yes I have a Lao Bing M4 from RSOV to fit for a Co-axial but the main gun is still in the either.
Tennis balls still sound a fun idea but how is still to be decided.
Maybe an 8mm bolt action could be the way to go?
Nice pictures Morgs!

What about a 40mm Moscart launcher with a long tube, firing those rubber baton rounds you can get now?

thanks for the pics morgs, handy, got any of the inside, mainly were every one sits or stands,
think i,l go for the aeg as the main gun and a dummy for the co-axial, unless i,v got a spare cheep soft to fit as well,
as i,m doing the mk2,
resently did a quick bodg job on a famas into a mg34 cam out okish
good sound with it to, nice and deep boom, so can do some thing simulare there as well,
40mm be very good for the sherman,

This is my turret ring dilemma do I put the metal angle inside the hoop or
outside ![]()

Free speech is expensive these days!

not shore old boy
is that part going to be welded to the hull or the turet ?
did you do that your self ? very nice,
i,v been thinking about doing a ring made out of a steal strip, that the turet will sit on and use ball bearings to keep it smooth, with a lip on the under side of the turet ring so it,l stay in place,
or even a large tractor wheal and cut the hub out, because i think they have a lip on the out side edge ?
its going to be one of them things you see and it,l be a light bulb moment, ![]()

My idea is to fix the ring to the body and clip sprung rollers either to the inside or out side of the pipe.
I bent the ring on old cable drum ends.
Thanks I am quite pleased with the result.

Look here for some inspiration maybe

Now that is cool. A t34 in the background, a Panther, a Tiger and it looks like they're making a grant on the left?
That looks awsome
Come on Oddball - you've got some catching up to do mate!
I expect a full platoon of Jagdpanthers by the next event. ![]()

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
Lets face it British are just amateurs
What have they made the tracks from here on this 34

Is it conveyor track?

good to see they use ply wood to, that makes me happy ![]()
the only thing i,d say is how can they shoot them with paint, thats just not right,
well dun for finding that webby matey, maybe it,l start every one else thinking what they can do as well, i can say that you should never pay any green fees again if you turn up with a scratch built tank again, maybe that help sway the wife g/f about having a tiger parked in your drive,
not at all oddball the more peple we can get to start makeing this sort of thing can only be a good thing, imagin 1/2 a duzen turning up at a WW2 weekend, would make the hole thing even better,
we have 2 in the ww2 sceam atm and soon to be 4 not bad for under a year ah,
so if any one elc wants to build a AFV post away
