I love that movie - and i don't care if it's full of errors.

You know the guy that Hanks is pulling out of the sea and then he realizes he's dead and lets him go? He's a friend of mine...(I mix with C-list celebrities you know :D )

not the leather chinstrap, but they have the studs for it, apparently they are US made for the swedes just after the war , only difference is the webbing insde is light blue and the outer shell is blue, but they are really good.

Thing is if it's a proper M1C liner, they've got press studs inside as well...and the A Frames are attached to them. Atleast I think they are without going and looking at my kit.

the A frames are only attached to airborne liners,as are the studs for the webbing chin strap , these are just GS liners, i rivetted the A frames in today at lunch.put the chinstrap press studs in last night. 20 min job. much better than the shite 60s para liner my m1 shell came with.

You could probably sell that "shite"60s para liner on Ebay for around £15 if its a Nam and not 80s one

Danish M1 liners are good-very good in fact but you cannot beat a Belgian one as they are 100% spot on

General Service Beret/Flop-Cap from SoF. Hope it's worth it!

Arrived today. It's very high quality, but the "62cm" headband is more like a 60cm.

Pop rivet tool, to repair a broken one in the top cover of my BC-1000 radio.

....a modern Voightlander VC II light meter  ...to use with my vintage cameras

A British Large Pack from a local surplus dealer. I needed a large bit of canvas for my Crown & Anchor betting-board. So I cut it up with a knife and some scissors  . Don't worry it was way beyond repair to start with.

Yeah, Tilburg is like 15 minutes by car from where I live.
I received a speeding ticket from that very city today, :x

The Large Pack will live on as my Crown & Anchor game board
