absolutely mate, look on the back of the container, see what you can let the oil down with, then apply about half a dozen coats over a week or so. its a time consuming pain in the arse but it will give you a much better finish than a couple of coats of full strenth oil.

Bit of a haul today, Nam M1 helmet, correct OD paint, cork and D bales, for said Helmet. Water bottle cup, to replace the one on my German flask.

About £120 of assorted rifle upgrade parts for the SMLE, all fitted now.

200m of field telephone wire.

'The Sharp End of War: The Fighting Man in World War II' by John Ellis. War from the ordinary solder's point of view, looks very interesting.

Soviet snow suit- which is huge but then I guess its meant to be. Yes I am an optimist. :lol:
No sign of the Telnyashka I ordered at the same time though. :(
