Pair of original WAC, 1944 dated double buckle boots :good: even better they fit me 8) mind I did have every mentionable angle checked before I bought them from the dealer.

Time to get them greased up, fed up of buying nigh on desicated leatherware from dealers :evil:

Get hold of some Ko-Cho-Line. Works brilliantly for bringing pretty-much-fooked leather back into serviceable condition.

Deliveries........

Another batch of stuff from Nic Morigi. More bloody sewing :(

I'm using a variety of items I have from previous leather restorations. Its just it would save me untold effort i f people looked after it rather than me having to rescue it from drying out further and becoming dust (especially considering the price)

From the 'Dunstable Downs Radio Club annual car-boot', this morning;

Mint/unissued Small pack (with sholder radiomans strap attached), RAF revolver holster and Bren barrel slip, all wartime dated and all for £7.
Para helmet!!! Well, British made Amoured/Dispatch Rider, 1980 dated liner, but fits my massive head and was only £7!!! PBI here I come...

A luftschutz helmet, felt the need to re-equilibriate all the allied stuff I've bought recently :rofl: :good: Nice M38 wartime made lid (Dresden by Paul Diener). Can now scrub about in blue overalls ready for an air-raid :lol:

Up-date: Now I've had a good look, the bren barrel slip as described by the seller isn't one, it's actually a Lee Enfild rifle cover/slip in web material (mid-late war common type)! This now means I have a WW1 Lee Enfiled rifle slip, an early WW2 LE rifle slip and now a mid-late WW2 LE rifle slip! And they're all diffrent designs... :)
The helmet deffinately is a Mk2 armoured troop helmet.

Another delivery. Small Jerry ruck in need of some TLC. Some idiot decided to undo most of the stitching. Still, couple of hours with my leatherworking toolkit and it'll be sorted. Almost got enough rucksacks and tornisters to outfit an entire Zug now :lol:

Silvered metal colt .45 frame for my TM .45.

Need to replace the slide release, safety lever, bever tail and hammer with similarly coloured ones too.

-- attachment is not available --

Was also toying with the idea of getting some real wooden grips and a 150% recoil spring
