Swedish WWII style backpack just in time for Jedburgh training tomorrow. Leather needs a bit of oiling (which I won't have time to do) but can't complain at the price or the delivery as I only ordered it Wednesday evening.

More Brit' camp beds! :slap:
These aren't as nice and the wood and steel 'officers' style one I got at Sennybridge, but one is a genuine WW2 tan canvas 'stereotypical' type camp bed, and the other two are civilian copies of it - both in tan canvas also. All three for just under £7!

Hmmmm, wasn't thinking of selling any, but then again I can't sleep on all 4 at once!
Do you live up near Gadge's area of the Midlands? I'm regularly up in Derby, and can drop off/let you see them, to see if they're the kind of things your wanting?

"Bericht Van De Tweede Wereldoorlog", a 17 part WW2 encyclopaedia. Alongside my first watching of A Bridge Too Far, reading this as a kid, is what a deeper interest in WW2. My dad lost various parts over the years and I've always meant to purchase it for myself.

Also acquired a pretty noticeable dent in my wallet over the past few weeks  Damn you all for being a friendly and helpful bunch!

(not looking forward to sewing on that cuff title)

Then dont, they were not always worn. In fact you might be more accurate leaving it off.

Yes the 'Afrika Korp' cuff title wasn't that common on combat uniforms for various reasons. You're certainly better leaving it off until after Dragoon as the DAK had ceased to exist over a year earlier. kit list sounds good though Harry, I look forward to seeing it. :good:
