The webbing will be army for now unless the FoR order turns up so I'll have spares I can dye blue.

Yeah those guys had a stall at W&P, we were very tempted by the Pioneer saw and scabbard they had but it was a bit pricey as is a lot of their stuff. The pukka reel is cool but A: a bit pricey, and B; not very practical to carry around. The hand spool can clip onto your webbing and actually be useful. I'd suspect Pioneers would have used them for demo purposes. As it is we will be putting phone cable on it anyway so it will be dual role, comms and demo

At last!! A big grey army blanket - not an original Wehrmacht or repro, but it'll do the biz. Search for "Armeedecke" on ebay.de. As ever, the postage was a killer, but the total was less than 30 Euros. Blanket brand new, probably Polish.
