A pair of original grips to go on my PFC Enfield Service Revolver. They're war department marked and everything... :)

I do hope they fit!

Aah, lovely & itchy, but nice'n snug. I'll be wearing mine in Bastogne this December.

A friend and I are going to do the Historic Walk as crew of a knocked-out Sherman.

On paper our group currently has 43 Privates against 1 PFC, 3 Tec-5s, 2 Corporals and 2 Sergeants

Are the privates the ones who can't be bothered to buy PFC chevs? I just promoted myself to sergeant.

What do you mean - I thought four of us were NCOs in the doughboys? Doesn't matter anyway, I haven't joined the 35th yet, I'm a sergeant in the 29th!

Doughboys are 35th Inf dude, its been sealed now.

Was gonna suggest every1 who wanted to be a part went as 35th to the hurtgen game, but it looks like its just me! :)

I have T5 stripes on my stuff, not sergeant, because of me being part of a .30cal crew.

Fair dos. Who's the rest of the crew?

p.s., not being awkward, just can't afford to rebadge/buy new stuff for 35th so soon after my 29th stuff.

 don't ask a bulk buy of swedish trousers (6 pairs for less than £3) and a swedish tunic   hoping with a bit of needletrickery they can be something splendiferous ..... watch this erm space

Good luck with that :?

Oh yeah, together with the uniform came another smaller package...The black bakelite container for my 135mm Hektor lens:

It's the ominous black tube seen at the center back.

Now I also need one for the 35mm Elmar to finish te set and have an uncle (who specializes in guitar cases) make me a one-off special Leica carrying case.

very nice 8) and its more for its fabric content than its styling, do you know how hard it is to get hold of 1940s style military wool in the UK ? the swedish stuff is the right consistancy, they were what was used (actually I know of one person and I saw it in October I bet there are more or others ;) )before the repro stuff was mass done ;) I'm going to massacre it anyways  well some of it  I need me puddle outfit from them

Well hopefully a wise decision  guy has very good feedback  albeit it he's in the Ukraine and sometimes can be iffy that way.... Anyways all being well it will arrive and I will have a new brooch for my collection 8) for £12.10 then a bit of postage on top  meaning if its a repro its no loss and if its an original  am happy, well happy eitherway as its one I couldn't afford to spend £160 on
