My friend Pvt Shortwood and I got a little giftset today from the General Maczek museum for our help during the re-opening.

A Polish 1st Armored division patch, a sticker, a memorial coin and some "Poland" shoulder-titles :D

Oh and my M1945 combat pack arrived, complete with suspenders...and I already have a cargo-pack so I've got a complete set now! Joy :lol:

just got my plastic bc-611 handie-talkie, to be honest I'm not that impressed but i can use it as a template for a cb case.-- attachment is not available --

Should have an M36 uniform by the end of the month, and hopefully webbing by March/end of March. I'm possibly getting Lewis' boots, too, but he's a hard man to get hold of.

He's not got a mobile and it was his birthday at the weekend. I'm popping over to his place tomorrow, I'll ask him about the boots

Just 'won' a Kodak Autographic No.2 Folding camera on Evilbay. It originates from 1915 or 1916 I think.

As much as I like the No.2 Box Brownie I have in my collection I like to have cameras with a wider range of settings like this one.

Ready for the Zonnebeke WW1 event this summer.

Cool, was talking camera's wtih my dad last week and my grannie used one of those right through the WWII, think he said it was a wedding gift 8) was used well into my dads early years as he remembers being clipped around the ear for touching it :lol:
