What type of holster are trying to find? a cross-draw US Airborne type or US Infantry type - worn on belt?

I dont think that any left handed holsters were ever made during WW2.

Hi Rik,

I'm a southpaw also - I learned to shoot .22; 7.62; 5.56 and now 6mm bb right handed, it's something you get used to over time.

It's actually quite good being able to shoot either left or right handed depending on the situation - ability to limit your target area to the opposing team :D

Keep trying, practice makes perfect as they say - good luck.

Thats because of the shell ejection port is on the right side of the rifle, if they fire it left handed they would be catching a hot shell in the face, would not fancy that on full auto!.

"Will you stop talking about the war!!"
"What, you started it!"
"We did NOT start it!"
"Yes you did, you invaded Poland..."

I know about the shell ejection, it's one of the big niggles from the eighties when we gave up the old SLR's, they used to eject at 90 degrees therefore making them usable for lefties. As JD7 said practise makes perfect and I often try to shoot left handed (I'm right handed) if nothing else for CQB training,

Learning to shoot both left and right handed can be a real bonus, speaking as a lefty. It takes a lot of practice to become proficient though. The trick is not to aim in a conventional sense. I can fire equally well left or right handed, with both eyes open and not using the sights, simply because of good training and a lot of practice.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
