The only thing I would question is the colour of the box? Were they not usually brown?
I hope they taste better than the originals were reputed to?

Pocher: Yea I know the boxes are a different colour although iv seen loads of variants of colours, but I'm still trying to find a decent supply of the correct thickness and colour at a decent price, and yea I hope it does, it's just pure milk chocolate
Gunman: cheers mate, first attempt and all that, hopefully they will get better with practice!
Cheers guys
You're going to a lot of trouble there bear. Nice one.
That mould for the chocolate bar you've made shows pure awesome dedication

Well here are Colonel Logan's (the man who asked Hershey to make them) requirements for the Bar:
1. Weigh 4 ounces (112 g)
2. Be high in food energy value
3. Be able to withstand high temperatures
and finally...
4. Taste "a little better than a boiled potato"
Have fun! Oh and excellent work by the way.

Having tasted Hershey's non-ration chocolate, and dread to think what the military ration version would have tasted like - I'd take the boiled potato anyday!

Brown muck with grit added? I find it way over sweet and with a strange powdery/gritty texture.
Horrid stuff. Even girls I know won't eat it.

Looks great
Very impressed. I love this level of detail.
Now I have seen them, they are unreal! Never have I seen such a great effort. Top job bear and you should sell loads buddy. The re-enactment groups would be axed at your level of detail!
You need to see them to be leave it!

Too right. I'll be putting my name down for some. Nice one bear.
Like I told you at the Gothic Line game, great work and a deffinate re-sale for those who want that authentic style scoff at their airsoft/re-enactment weekends. When your happy with your finished products get them out for purchase mate
