Good Idea Click !

To help those not familiar with the Warsaw uprising,..here is a link to a reenactment event, celebrating the anniversary of the uprising.

One big problem with this scenario. Large elements of the SS involved in this campaign were war criminals (SS-Sturmbrigade Dirlewanger) who committed mass attrocities and murder of civilians. Who want to seen to be portraying a war criminal???

Ò€œI wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So donÒ€ℒt think I marched there for this reason Γ’β‚¬β€œ it could carry another name Γ’β‚¬β€œ but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take Γ’β‚¬β€œ and you know Γ’β‚¬β€œ we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942

"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
Joseph Stalin, November 1942

Not a problem for me.... Interested in the battle reenactment,...the Scenario in general,...not any individual atrocities.

Cool, do they have eagles on them? If so do they have a crowns on their heads? If not then they are communist era when the Soviets decided to take that away from them. If so it is either wartime or a modern one (since 1990ish)

Click

the sof ones so yes they have crown on head

I think I'd be interested in an uprising based game as personally I'm a fan of any partisan type game since they can play out quite differently to 'normal' games.

I've had similar trouble, I think its due the berets we're using not being as baggy as the real thing.
