Your kit looks impresive, but I'm not that knowledgable when It comes to the US Stuff.

Looking good, seems to be a few players moving away form 101st and 82nd airborne for more 'leg infantry' impressions.

Just back from war and peace and i managed to pick up a US M1 Helmet, US Belt, Waterbottle cover, M43 Jacket, Some US OD Trousers, Gaiters, OD Poncho, Some Boots, Jeep Cap.

All are authentic repos from soldier of fortune eccept the Boots and the Trousers but they look the part at least.

Constructive feedback please and yes i know the trousers and boots arnt right.

Looks good mate!

Don't worry too much about the boots, I don't wear the proper 1s under my Gaitors, you can get away without paying lots of money for 'proper' boots. The proper 1s would be the rough ankle boots if you wanted to take it to the next notch.

How would you be carrying your thompson mags? A Thompson mag bag means you can carry 6 of the long mags quite easily, theyre relatively inexpensive :)

Considerations for your next buy: might be the thompson mag-bag, a green/tan Helmet net, a dark brown leather chin strap for your helmet, Carliasle 1st aid pouch,... and then you can get crazy with the .45 holster and the twin .45 ammo pouch should you ever get 1 :)

I'd seriously consider getting some suspenders for your pistol belt. It's not designed to be worn without some sort of support over the shoulders, plus they'll spread the weight of your kit across your body.

Or an Infantry Doughboy Pack, has the harness straps built into it (plus it carries your E-tool etc.)

I'm pretty sure the doughboy pack hooks into the M1936 suspenders, so you'd have to have them to fit the pack.

Nope, I have 1, the doughboy comes with its own straps, the belt goes through a loop at the bottom of the pack, and hooks onto the front using the normal clips. It then has 2 straps that go under the arms and hook onto an 'O' ring in the centre of the pack.

Just dont get them from SOF, theyre very orange!
