Having your cake and eating it?

Well I suppose that is the point in having cake.

excellent, love the 2nd armoured pics. T handle shovels are a real pain, spent ages trying to get mine attached to my dough boys pack.

Well it's about time to put some kit pics up of me and Lipton
Enjoy, or laugh at. Not really fair of me to dictate which.

Lipton, good looking kit, I like the non-reinforced jumpsuit, might have to look in to that. Just a couple of obs, you need a leather helmet chin strap (those helmets just don't look right without one) and to roll about in the mud for a good 20 minutes haha Sparkly new looking kit.
It looks excellent mate and great to have another rifle :good: Hope to see it at Taffy's event in May, it should be a doozy!

cheers guys
as usual these are still work in progress, just adding bits at a time.
as for the para kit it's hard to tell with black & white but they are somewhat mucky, it was the kit i was wearing when we went for a splash in the bog at "mist" :slap: . it even has rips and everything :D
unfortunately my leather liner strap fell off at mist as well and I have not go around to replacing it yet.
actually I prefer the infantry getup to the para
again cheers for the comments. :good:

Any idea where the jumpsuit came from and did you order a size larger or are they just made like that?

Thanks

Fantastic pic there, have you ever thought of doing one in the pose of "quiet contemplation"

"Will you stop talking about the war!!"
"What, you started it!"
"We did NOT start it!"
"Yes you did, you invaded Poland..."

Heh, that's one of the things that drives me nuts about reenactor photos - they seem to have only 2 types of poses: patrolling or the "ooh, I've had such a hard time in battle that I'm slumped here, looking really tired"! :ghey:

Hello,

pics from a airsoft game on Sunday, a mate very nicely took the pics for me.

I have gone for a late war, Heer Panzer Grenadier loadout, and was trying out the new woolen tunic (you need one for North East Scotland at the moment) and insignia.

I swear the 2nd pic wasnt staged! I was watching a game from the sidelines!

It was suprisingly comfortable and "low drag". I just got the King Arms 110 round mid-caps for the MP-40 which I fully admit are a Godsend compared to those awful metal lo-caps.-- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available --

Very VERY cool!!! Is that a real MG34, or is it an airsoft? If so what company?

I like how most of the jumpsuits look a bit more worn and dirty look much better more battle worn more character.

I spent today humping 11 lows around in a breadbag. They feed great and I like the fact they are metal, but you can burn through them damn fast if you're not careful. The MP40 performed admirably too, getting kills left, right and centre against hicaps & higher FPS guns alike. Until the stock fell off...

I have 16 of the metal low-caps, and did the same thing, but I still found myself hankering after larger sized mag capacity for suppressing and assault.

30 rounds of 9mm Parabellum from a MP40 has a much better effect of keeping the enemies head down than 35-40 6mm BB's. The enemy seems to be braver around airsoft rounds! :)

I know what you mean after yesterday

The 110 round mags give the AGM MP40 a new lease of life!

Although I did have to file the magazines down at the top to actually get them to fit the mag well!

I must admit to being quite impressed with the old MP40 as a skirmishing AEG, it was outpacing a lot of Marui's and ACM's and going toe to toe with my mates Marui M14 SOCOM (much to his annoyance).
