Hehe, you don't have to change a thing on my account. It's the two things the stitch-nazi in me want to point out, but I'm sure nobody would fault you for it if you go out skirmishing like that.

A magbag or a 5-cell thompson pouch are indeed the way to go (3-cell if you're doing marines), but I bet you can stuff plenty of BBs and other kit in those rigger pouches, always handy during a game.

As for helmets...didn't someone ask the same question a month or so ago? Model Train shops have ground cork in as fine a grain as you like. Spray a fresh layer of paint on your helmet and pour over some cork. Let dry. shake off excess and then seal in the remaining cork with a few more thin coats.

I've done it a few times (those 3 MP-helmets still haunt me). Regular Dutch Army pots, fixed the liner with a proper sweatband, replaced the modern chinstraps with the correct ones.....Even turned a rear-seam into a front-seam pot. But then again I'm a crackpot meself ;)

Yer thats why i bought the rigger pouches so i can stuff loads of things in them lol, well if i have enough money il probably get a 5 cell mag holder or a thompson mag bag, i may not though because i still need loads of other things for the november game like a spare battery, tent, mag's, goggles ect ect

If you get yourself an 8.4V 3600mah battery for your Thompson it should easily last a weekender, imagine you won't be constantly shooting all the time, since you can only take out limited ammo at a time.

If you're struggling for a pouch by then, as long as your rigger pouches keep the sand out of your mags, you're laughing! :)

I have a GP 8.4v 3700mAh battery atm so hopefully that will last a weekender. Also i did what you said with the pack and it doesnt slip down annymore its a bit more of a struggle to put on but once its on it's sooo much more comfortable. I probably will put some cork on my helmet if i have the money. :)

Finished my W-SS kit. Pics to be posted when I get home. I have decided that if I wear it in Hawaii, I will die of heatstroke. So I have bought some HBTs and will be wearing those to skirm in instead. At least until I get back to Oregon.

i could see it now Waffen SS in hawaii,
please youve got to take a picture on the beach, with a sign saying "aloha",
