If I go to the D Day event I will be standing in the German bunker watching the beach with my Zeiss 8x50 binoculars saying "Mein Gott, sein die Invasion"

Yeah, word to that, looks a bit crisp. It was the first time I'd worn it that day, and it might be a few weeks before I wear it again, as I split my pants jumping for cover the first time I got shot at! Tom has a pic of the famous 'blue egg'...

The other guy in the pic is Blood Clot, a regular at that site with his brother-in-law, George. He's from Glasgow, but George is down south, and they go all around the country playing airsoft, so I wouldn't be surprised if you know him. Top blokes, too.

I split my mustard pants the 1st time i wore them too, are they SOF 1s? The stitching in the crotch is diabolical, I asked my mum's friend to do them properly and now they're fine.

Got it in one, mate! I'm taking them the tailors this week, hopefully, with some extra material and asking if he can reinforce them.

Ice flow, nowhere to go,
Ice flow, nowhere to go,
Lost in the blinding whiteness of the tundra-
check him out.
They call him the shrew,
Arm's in shock, Live with the claw-

I'm little Johnny Frosbite,
moving around,
freezing you up, freezing you down,
Like and icicle,
Comin in your tent in the big blight scissor bite,
Arctic death, Infinite night,

They call me Tundra Boy because I move like and Arctic Lizard,
When the blizzard strikes I disappear,
Like a white dream,
All that's left is a gleam,

Boosh, boosh, stronger than a moose,
don't lock your door or we'll come through your roof top,
Stop or I'll take your mind off the flow,
because the Boosh is loose and we're a little bit cold,

Ice flow, nowhere to go,
Ice flow, nowhere to go,
Lost in the blinding whiteness of the tundra

The best episode of Mighty Boosh... Ever!

Looks good, of course its how comfortable it is when you wear it...

But the straps on your doughboy (i found) is more comfortable if you link the 2 outter straps at the front with the 'O' ring in the middle of the pack, so it creates the loops for your arms to go through, then the little leather band at the base of the pack is where your belt goes through.

Like that,.... otherwise, nice looking gear! :)

Starting to look like a GI! :)

Hang the doughboy pack a little higher and Webby's suggestion to turn it into a backpack is a good one too. It helped the GIs to take it off quicker when necessary.

[Re-enactor Stitch-counter mode ;)]
*get some ground cork painted on that helmet. soldier.
*not to sure about those airborne rigger-made pouches.
[/Re-enactor Stitch-counter mode]

Overall well done!

Most recent picture of me, not much good for id-ing kit though:

Shot by a fellow Dutchy named Archie ;)
Here is some more of his work at the same event
