I came across this item http://epicmilitaria.com/product.php/94 ... mo-pouches
It is stated that it takes 30 rounders, can it be true and historicaly correct? (or should I stick to mag bag?)
Sorry, my connection here is only loading the rear view.
Hmmmmmm A likely excuse

It's true, honest. I tried twice and got the rear view twice and the top of his helmet once!!!

Very poor quality snap from the mobile, but nice new Kradmantel from Spearhead.

From what I hear of your record Herr Steiner, you should be scared ![]()
Just ordered from SoF a map case, police whistle and the correct shoulder boards for the coat.

I definately need to get my papers sorted for Alsos. ![]()
ooo... you know you need to put a hem on the patches don't you? ![]()
yeah you might need to move up the service stripe a little to allow room for the hem

And the titles would need to be moved down.
My late war 'LAH' loadout

I like it ![]()
Feldgrau tunic and Dot44 trousers always looks great together for some reason...

CRY HAVOC AND LET LOOSE THE DOGS OF WAR

Very stylish photos, if a tad OTT. I'd be really tempted to post up a couple of these as caption competition photos!

Some nice photos. Prefer the natural ones as opposed to the staged action pics. Looks good though.
Very good there matey

I haven't figured out yet how to attach them
You sew them on like they did back then, needle, thread, 20 minutes to an hour depending on sewing skill levels.
Never done sewing? Give it a go, relaxing, frustrating but hugely rewarding when its done.

Last two pictures.
Lose the M1944 goggles off the front of your helmet. Not seen with the M1942 jump suit, very late war only if at all, they catch the sun and give your position away ages before your enemy would see you normally.
I once hunted a unit of US infantry through some wood lands (I'm a bit of a fat bumbling fool). They could not work out how we saw and assaulted them before they had a clue we were there. It was the shine of the goggles lenses, that some just had to wear, that betrayed them every time, it gave us a 15-20m advantage in spotting them.
Shape, Shine, Shadow, Silhouette as WW2 manuals would have it.
