Looks like a large pack to me.
Great for carrying more into the field in airsoft but in reality you'd rarely see it. They tended to live on unit transport, airborne lads almost *never* had them as you cant jump with one and you cant wear one sitting in a glider.
But for airsoft... totally useful!
I bought a large pack instead of a small pack when i started re-enacting as I thought that was the actual pack worn in combat.
