Thanks. :good:
My kit comes from all over so its hard to list. Uniform, some of the webbing and boots are from Front of Russia, gas mask bag and ushanka from shopbulgaria, greatcoat I got lucky and found on ebay. Snow suit is from Rusmilitary. If you're interested in getting some kit just take a look in the soviet kit section or drop me a PM.

Awsome pics Lardassmonkey, the loadouts look fantastic.

I have 1970's Soviet motor Rifles impression and am currently working on a WW2 Russian loadout. Still having trouble getting a Shinel or the padded Jackets my size unfortunately!

did any infantry lines wear these on d-day do you know?

Sometimes the Rangers wore them.

Re: the carry handle on the BAR, the carry handles were kept on them a lot longer than the Bipods were. If you've spent the money on the bits when keep them on i say.

Very cool Winter pics guys (cant go wrong with jeep's or B.A.R's in snow!), I will hopefully have my "Battle of the Bulge" kit ready for the shoot n Scoot game on the 17th, just need to find some buckle boots...

you'll find that alot of the guy's actually wore their jump boots. quite often in photo's you see most infantry and airborne lines wearing arctic overshoes.

and webby, i will be keeping them, but for my infantry gear which i will be mostly using with my bar, i wont use them.
