Ok next question...correct colour of helmet net? Green, tan or brown...I'm probably leaning towards tan or brown.

Excellent Impression Spiers, I am uber jealous of the 30 cal. I must admit I just swapped over to the "Big Red One" myself from the 2nd Rangers (lack of airborne boots).

The Normandy US infantry uniform is classier than the airborne isn't it? I have to admit the canvas leggings, even though they are a bitch to put on, do look swanky.

Haha you wouldn't be as jealous if you got a bit closer to it, it's a home made one, made out of wood & plastic! I think that in terms of which uniform looks smarter then I'd have to go for the US Infantry one but I find that for utility and comfort, it's definately the Airborne uniform, plus you can't fault the boots over the Roughouts...I love my Corcorans haha.

A medic armband with an Mp and 2 pistols!!
Quite the one man army?
You should drop the flag off your right sleeve though, not really correct for 101st wearing M42s.

Constructive criticism welcome baring in mind I know buggerall about infantry loadouts!

Looks good, I only have doubts over the trousers. What are they?

Your kidding! I genuinely thought it was the new Airsoft 30 cal!, Very nice work, fooled me anyway...

Nice kit Dawson, like i said I like the Airborne loadout, but I always like to go the basic G.I/landser/Tommy rather than the more elite units like US Airborne, Waffen SS or the Red Devils, I don't really suit the look with my Beer Belly!

I like to play the poor sod just trying to survive the war, do his bit for Uncle Sam/Fuhrer/King and get back to his Mom/Mutti/Mum!

No, close but no cigar, they're the correct colour and a similar fabric but have combat pockets on the side and came from Asda for £8... :good:

I think those trousers are fine. Don't forget we still have "lookalike" rules folks! Spiers does Airborne 99% of the time, so,it doesn't make sense to spend a load of dosh on hardly to be used infantry kit! The same reason why I will not be buying any cocoran boots for my airborne kit.

Can't fault £8.00 for some lookalike HBTs, and the pockets could always be taken off if you felt so inclined.
