Sorted out my webbing in preparation for Husky. Finally managed to figure out how it all goes together.
Main break through was figuring out that you only need one front strap on either side of the garand belt and the others clip to the musette bag to hold it snug to your back. Also means i can sit the Drop down Rope under the bag.

Today I (Well yesterday really) went to discuss a number of my projects with a friend who does small scale fabrication, not only is he going to make a number of parts for me he said it was ok for me to use his lathe and mill when he wasn't using them




Abandoned for another day.... though at least I managed to palm the eldest off to his best mates for a sleepover
little ones in bed (albeit it mine) and its way way WAY past beer o'clock and I've no work til Tuesday, so GLUG 






Yesterday, took my short boots to a cobbler to get some hobnails replaced, and picked up my RAL6006 spray paint.
Today, started packing for Husky! ![]()

Replaced the glass lens in my period mountain troops goggles to tinted safety lens.....hey presto period sunnys.Italian mountains here we come. ![]()

Started to organise my kit for Husky. Ordered just about everything i need hopefully it'll arrive before the friday.
Final adjustments made to webbing. Should be spot on now.
Realised there were a few more bits I could buy before Husky...
