When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
I wanted to dive the Thistlegorm when I went to El Gouna but Mrs wouldn't let me...was it good. Its supposed to be awesome to dive on.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
hang on, Diving, Egypt, Red Sea, November... All sounds very Oceanic White Tip-y to me.
Spent best part of an entire dive trying to get a decent photo of an oceanic white tip,it kept just out of range ,and it could swim faster than me !
Had a classic moment at Ras Mohammed though ,after having dropped down to 50 metres had a 5 metre Tiger cruise over the top of us while doing a deco stop at 9 metres, apparently they could see it from the boat .
Had a friend of mine had her cylinder tasted by quite a large hammerhead in the southern Red Sea while filming a shoal, her hubby was so narked he thought it was funny at the time.
First dived the Thistlegorm 15 years ago when it was covered in corals ,the M20s still had their badges and the Austins their radiator caps, it was truly awesome then, and dived it at night on twins ,only 6 of us on the entire wreck, superb ! last dived it 5 years ago and have to say I was very disappointed by the amount of damage done,it is after all a british war grave.

heh I can totally see the fascination and awe-striking majesty that you must get with this diving. Doesn't stop me thinking you are all nuts though. ![]()
Nothing quite like being out in the "blue" at night when the big fish hunt .

Get on a plane in Lodz and will fly to Minsk.

I made a few crates the last few days, does anyone know a cheap place to buy Nazi Eagle stamps or stencils?
I know the German army didn't put an Eagle etc on everything but I think for this it would look nice, about 3" wide.

Free speech is expensive these days!

Finalised and tested my replacement solid-state vibrator unit for my "Exploder, Battery, Condenser, MkI" - 400Vdc isolated ignition from a standard 6v Duracell battery supply! Clever circuit for a unit more than 60 years old....
No more failed pyro' ignition hopefully - with this thing, if it doesn't detonate, then the pyro' is at fault! ![]()

Fixed the wiring problem with my MP40. Looks like the bit where the wiring leaves the trigger contacts and loops round inside the body to the battery compartment was rubbing through the wire's coating, shorting it out on the steel frame. Bit of heatshrink and a file to the offending sharp edge, problem solved!
re worked the sights on my no4 so they point where the bb go's
,modified the hop so i can now use less than .35 g bb's without them going vertical, stipped the paint of the barrel muzzle and ally blacked it.re-did some other stuff i did haistilly when i made it and gave it a good clean and lube.blanco'd my frog ![]()
