Thanks for the offer but I'd still need to get other U.S kit for him (gaiters, webbing, trousers, helmet), so it's not worth it for just one game. He probably would have been better off playing as a German, since his uncle Stu is playing on that side but I've loaned Stu my remaining German kit :slap: . I may get him some brit gear (if he wants), so he can at least potentially dabble at some other games with me.

I'm not doing this game, but my German kit could be borrowed instead. 5'8 think the trousers are 30" waist (it was the smallest they did when I bought them  ) and have the option of FJ for this

Damn I could be seen as a bad influence  sorry Mrs Heide 8)

That's very kind of you :good: . I'll ask him and see what he thinks about playing a "baddie" and wearing wool in June. (Will also ask the missus if she minds giving him the money to play again!).

He wouldn't even need to wear a tunic if its hot, could just have the bonesack on ;) bit cooler than all wool, with a choice of have sidecap or FJ lid. Right I'll stop now, offers there if you want to take it up though  and he'd not have to wear any insignia as I've not sewn it on to my side cap and theres none on the bonesack .... thinking of brownie points for the Mrs, he'd only be half a baddie

 Sounds ok to me. I'll let you know when I ask him. He's at cadets at the moment.

EDIT - just checked old posts and GF's website and Luke can't play, he's not old enough. :slap: Oh well, saves me some money!

I have M43s that might fit you, could probably source some leggings for you too. Only thing I dont have is a spare helmet.

I should have enough webbing to go about, obviously depending on what gun you wanted to use etc.

100m? You could THROW the round that far! Nice guns though. Makes me envious, haven't fired a real weapon for a while now.

100M? Wouldn't that be considered almost as CQB in your old line of work Pete?

We have the longest INDOOR range in Europe Pete..... It's not the distance mate - It's the shot! These things are now used for Urban Sniping!
Fired last week at a respectable 350 and when the 500m is ready - well........

Only pulling your leg mate, I'm just jealous that's all. I did an OP shoot with the original Barret .50 at slightly longer range - 2km! (AND got a headshot!). Some of the newer .50's are awesomely accurate from what I hear but in my sniper days, they were more an "anti material" weapon, shooting bodies with them was considered overkill and a waste of ammo.
