Pocket litter

I'm trying to think up things that we could carry in our pockets that if the worst come to the worst and we are stopped and searched by the Tommies might actually aid our cover identities. I'm referring to things the average English civilian might have in their pockets on a day to day basis that you wouldn't expect a prisoner to be able to obtain. I think they also need to be items that are in no way remarkable so as not to arouse interest and would in no way be traceable.

So far I have the following:

Civilian ID card. We have briefly discussed this but we will need to obtain a genuine card in order to copy it.
Possible work related documents like travel permits. I am not aware of the travel situation in England so it will need more research. Nothing military, it is too risky.
Money. Paper may be easier to fake but we may be able to obtain a few coins from the guards.
Photographs of loved ones. I think we can use our own as long as they cannot be determined as German in origin.
Letters. These would have to be forgeries written in good English to fool the Tommies. Addresses and postage details would also need to be correct.
Ration books. Appropriate ones for small items/food. The Tommies will not be fooled into thinking we are going clothes shopping!
Tobacco/cigarettes. ideally these need to be popular English types in the civilian packaging, not the muck they issue to us now. If you cannot get the cigarettes, only the packet remember not to offer one to the Tommies!
