Well this looks to be a fun event due to the amalgamation of a few different ideas the 4 of us have come up with (Porta, Tiny, Rooster, Oddball).
We are not going to tell you all the things we are working on but just give a peak at some.
One thing in the pot is a replica SOE Morse radio set.
Take a look here on eBay at the sort of thing I am talking about.

However the one I am working one is the later model MKIII A3 shown here which is more compact.

GEMA radar I have made it a PPI Plan Position Indicator system as the Germans had this technology from 1940.
The world's first "Panorama" or Plan Position Indicator (PPI) display radar was built by GEMA in 1940 at Tremmen near Berlin. The 20 m large antenna is located in the top of the concrete tower and it rotates through 360 deg. at 6 rpm. Range is 120 km. The radar display station is located in the base of the tower and a PPI display, as shown above was used. The PPI radar was invented and patented by Hollmann in 1940 and developed by GEMA in 1937. This unit could not be jammed and it was operational up to the end of the war.

I love you man!
very nice be a shame to blow it up. viva la resistance!
Excellant work we will defend it with our lives
Thanks guys I felt it was worth trying to do a half decent job on it.
So what colour should the box base be grey, black or green?
I have some cheap black to use up from a £ store with sand in it for grip.
This will probably be up for hire after this event if anyone would like it for a prop in the future.
I just have to work out where the hell to keep it
It could make a fun target for shooting at with just an arm spinning or a new clothes drying machine for my garden

There will also be some vehicles used in the event.
They may well be driven at a few points in the day but probably not during any fire fight.
The Kubelwagen must not be shot at as it is a show vehicle!
As many know my tank will be there on the German side this time LT Gruber style
However we will also have this Kubelwagen courtesy of my mate Roy

EDIT due to the un-expected death of Roy Barnes the owner this Kubelwagon is un-likely to be there

Ok as the FFI armbands are potentially critical to the event I have got my finger out and made some.
However please feel free to make your own and show me up for the bodger I am
You can also buy a good one on ebay remember I may forget to bring these on the day as I have one or two other things to bring http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FFI-F-F-I-FRE ... 2570011240
In case you do not know the French only put on their armband once they are in the fight and then it must stay on for the day unless told other wise.
If you make a stealth kill with a knife etc and are not seen by an other German then you are still a none combatant.
If the Germans walk into the room after you make a kill and find you with a body WASN'T ME HE WENT THAT WAY!
