Hi everyone

Just thought I'd say hello. I've been airsofting since about May this year and would like to give WWII skirmishes a go. I've always been interested in the history of the War and I've just about finished watching Band of Brothers which made me look into WWII skirmishing again! I'm in a loosely affiliated team too so I'll see if any of my chaps and chapesses are up for it.

From having a quick look around on here there doesn't seem to be many WWII skirmishes around Scotland but if there are any bigger games coming up further afield, maybe next year, then I'm sure I could get a few people along for a weekend.

While I'd love to put together a WWII loadout (not sure which forces), I have little enough cash to spend on my "everyday" kit at the moment so I'd probably have to hire.

Cheers,
seaweasel

Splendid double entendre but I think it's a sea otter?

Meh, nazi stitch/mammal counting apart - welcome to the forum Mr Weasel!

Check out the Brit section, it's the place to be for new recruits!

Cheers CW - :rasp:

Of course, you are quite right - an otter it is, even cuter than a beaver quite frankly - :D

If you're at a loose end on Sunday Warren's having an open day up at the Hill. Not WW2, but should be a laugh. I'll be up there in US Airborne kit regardless.

Oh and Welcome!

Otter:

Beaver:

Very different from one another, one builds dams, one doesnt. However, both can be used in a double entendre, sometimes in the same sentence -

"Her beaver was as wet as an otter's pocket"

Oh, and welcome!

I'm moving over to Northern Ireland next week so thought I'd check in and see if there were any WWII games over there. Anyone know of anything going on? Cheers.

There was another guy from NI recently. If there is nothing on i reckon you guys should get together and organise one if you can find a friendly site.

Everything has to start somewhere!
