Hey guys,

I've been lurking here for a while and I'm about to take the plunge. D-Day will be (hopefully) my first WW2 themed airsoft event. It's not just me tho, my team has 4 MP40's and 2 Tommy's so we'll more than likely be Axis (our normal skirmish 'look' is flecktarn based - we love German camo!!) but not sure what unit to join - I have a full set of Heer Feldgrau's and webbing but I also have an Oakleaf smock and lid cover...

Decisions, decisions...

YOu can always use mp40s as captured kit for allied airbonre or commandoes

If anything we really need more brit players!

I'm sure we have 1 Tommy impression in our team but like I said earlier we just love German camo!

Will do Kermit, it'd help settle the nerves to not be the only one turning up with a Wehrmark loadout!

As much as that appeals to the Camo fetishist in me, I've always preferred German guns and gear... plus I've just spent loads (for someone effectively unemployed!) at Spearhead and Cost's a Fortune...

Just a jokey name for our Southern Cousins see ...

http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/php/phpBB2 ... .php?t=942

There are no teams here as such , but rough allegences based around 9th SS, Gross Deutschland and 27th Panzers . People also do generic impression and the odd LSSAH and FJ ( FJs are always a lil odd  )
Allied wise there are some Brits , Commando, Airborne and Inf , and a multitude of Yanks , 1st, 35th 82nd, 101 .

TBH it's all pretty relaxed and informal , any generic impression is great, and as Gadge say we could do with some more Brits.
