Hi all,

Im looking at going Airsofting soon and came accross this site! Although i havent been airsofting before im into WW2 history and love the look at what you guys do here! the d-day video was excellent and it looks like you have alot of fun!

So, i havent been airsofting yet, i live in the south east london area (within the M25 area) but am willing to travel a little to try airsofting if needed. Does anyone happen to know of any sites around my way? Also i noticed that you need to be registered or somthing in order to buy your own kit? As a first timer do i have to hire kit the first time?

If i was to enjoy my first time airsofting (which im sure i will) and i was to buy some WW2 kit and weapons where would be the best place to get hold of this? My weapon of choice would preferably be the M1 garand or maybe even the Thompson (or both if im feeling rich! haha)

Thanks for any advice you can give me! cheers!

Chris

Hi Chris, you do indeed need to be AFRA registered in order to buy an airsoft gun. The best way of achieving that is to skirmish at a local site.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

Welcome. you're in my neck of the world. So sites close to you are AWA Herts, great site and my local one, tech brigade Herts, not been. Xsite buckinhamshire, tim wybournes site, great site great guy. Regarding getting a gun, You need UKARA registration to buy from most shops and for that you need to have site membership. you can get this by attending a site 3 times in 2 months or more. AFRA is another possible route but site membership is the usual way. remember if you are under 18 you cannot buy a realistic gun. sorry stupid law I know but thats just the way it is. most sites offer membership and you can also hire guns and kit. any other questions drop us a PM. P

PS Germans are much cooler and thats a fact, look it up.

Google airsoft and you will find out many other sites in the area. 8)
