Hello from Colorado Springs, Colorado

Recently found this site through Airsoft International Magazine.
I am a long time reenactor in the US and a airsofter as well. I have often thought that the two would at some time merge as the availablity of weapons is greater in airsofting, and the realism of reenacting makes a better event, in my opinion.

I have been doing WWII reenacting for the last 16 years, being a member of the 8th Guards- a Soviet group. We have recently added a British 'division' to our group, as many of us have had Brit kit for many years. Our focus is on the African and Med campaigns, rather than the European campaigns.

As for airsofting, I have been a member of the Texas based Whiskey Company, and with Chris Butler started up the Indiana MilSim outfit, IMCO. I recently had the chance to participate in Irene 6. I am hoping to introduce an airsoft element to our reenacting here in Colorado and the mid-west.
