Hi all,

after a long time browsing on these forums i finaly decided to make an account. So a little bit about me:-

Age 24 (will be 25 in December! 1/4 of a century thast old :D )
I use to live in Watford, up to about 6 months ago. Just brought my first property (damm the bills!) in Hemel Hempstead. Would of loved to stay around Watford but the prices of houses / flats is ridiclious. Mainly becasue of its location to London, M1 and M25.

I have been airsofting for about 5 years now and the first time i ever went was a rental at Tech brigade when i was 19. Since then i have been addicted. I currently own the folowwing Gear/Guns.

1 TM Thompsons with a barrel which has broken but i have seen on the forums there is kits to fix it with!
1 TM Thompson with CAW wood Kit and with the "working Bolt Mod" for it.
2 Hudson Grease Guns (1 brought one from WW2 Guns (which took 4 months to arrive), i thought i had been ripped off so i ordered another one from WGC (and both came in the same week!!)
TM Colt 1911 Standard With 4 Mags
8mm Marushin M1 Carbine with 3 Mags
30 Cal w/ a orgianl M2 Tripod. I hope to have this up and running by November 2010. I will post pictures of this when it is finished.
82nd Airbourne Rig With a Repro Jump Suit. I try and carry as little as possible on my rig for ease of movement and speed.
Have water bottle, first aid pouch (which i generally try and stuff in some plasters and a 1911 mag!) 2 30 rd Thompson Pouches Or 1 Carbine pouch. Dump pouch and a Musette bag. Colt i either have on my real pistol belt or on a shoulder holster (which i prefer.)

I have been to lots of Airsoft sites and for the last 18months or so i have always won this rig. I have players wearing DPM or "morden US" comment on it. Its funny when your the only one at a site and everyone is looking at you like "Woah!" and them they see the thompson with the woodkit and the blowback device working and it makes jaws drop.

I have been to the following sites
Xsite - Regular
Tech Brigade
UCAP
Electro Works
Spec Ops (? the one in weymouth?)
Urban Assault (the one near peterborough, i think. Was an old RAF base)
Evesley
The Mall
and a couple of woodland sites in Reading which are now closed.

Thanks for reading
Stuart

Hears a little sneak preview of the 30 Cal (without the prototype innerbarrel and gearbox put into it)

Welcome Stuart. A nice little collection of guns you've got going there already.
Have a look at the Devils Hill game in a couple of weeks. It's the perfect game for your 82nd rig if you can make it up north and its still in need of some more yanks. :good:

I would love to come but im in the process of going through a small promotion at work, and i will be putting in more hours and as i work 3/4 Saturdays minimum i dont want to go there and ask for one off this early. ( I probably could but it would be a very cheeky). Whens the next event likely to be?

I have lived all around Watford until April(ish) when i brought my first flat in the lovely area of Grove Hill, just 5 mins from the equally nice Woodhall farm area! :good: (little bit of sarcasim there btw). I have a couple of airsofting mates in Hemel one lives pratically on the magic round about, and the other lives inbetween the magic roundabout and Apsley sainsburys. Nice to know someone local as it would be nice travelling to an event with someone. :happyclap:

Howdy Neighbour,
A lot of Dog Company are, although not exclusively, based around your area, our GHQ and R&R facilities are a grenade throw (with a good arm :) ) from Hunton Bridge. At the moment though a lot of us are working abroard until the end of November (3 in Spain at present and I'm in Serbia)
We are mostly badged 101st Airbourne but also sport Infantry, Marines, some Axis and other loadouts too. You may see us at a CIA game in the future (dependent on scenario/availability) and we hope to have a good turn out for Gunmans "Anzio" game in November... We also regularly attend the 1940's weekends at the Linconsfield Centre at Bushey...
Welcome to the scene and I hope to see you about....

Aitch ,Engineer DogCo

(Remember....If your Engineer is Smoking, it's safe to smoke. If he is smouldering, please put him out!)
