Welcome to the forum,

great to read your going for an Axis loadout - best place to start for info is the kit guides at the top and the threads in the Axis area's.

There is at least one guy who's gotta LWFD loadout so there be info in their somewhere.

Del

Hello there. I have a LWFD kit - it can be very varied, because they were drawn from all walks of LW life, and later supplied with army kit - but I would advise against getting that TC511 tunic. (I hope you haven't ordered it already.)

The most important item would be the splinter pattern jacket, TR380A - and although I would rarely recommend anything from SoF, at £39.99, that is very good value indeed.

Feel free to PM me for any further questions. :good:

OK, there are plenty of Axis uniforms to choose from - look at the kit guides (see the menu bar at the top).

you can get a cheap dot 44 uniform for about 60 quid off ebay.

However I'd always recommend a field gray tunic, trousers and m43 cap. Get a belt, anklets and bread bag as a good starter kit.

Leave the camo til later... you'll find field grey gives you so much more options and is more usable in british weather, dot 44 suit on its own is pretty thin as it was designed as an oversuit.
