Hey,
Just started WW2 Reenactment and WW2 airsoft at the same time (its stupid doing one and not doing the other...) after W+P and having a few mates start WW2 airsoft and enjoying the events.
So far bought most of my gear I need - ultimately aiming to get the best quality repro stuff but atm been tracking it all down, so far have Battledress (Greek jacket to be retailored, and 1940 pat trousers), Denison smock (thanks to Dieselmonkey for jacket/denison), 1949 jacket, most 1937 pat webbing/small/large pack/bren gun pouches etc.
Joining Lovatt Scouts/HG reenactment group probably (Swansea Bay reenactment this weekend...) so will most likely come wearing full gear to weekenders.
Just bought a deact Bren Gun for reenactment and to get measurements off to make my own custom Bren - but it appears parcel farce may have obliterated it in a lorry crash
also will be working on a custom Enfield (musing over whether to useM14 internals or to use bolt action sniper...)
Would love to come to the event on teh 28th but inducting new students to airsfot in general, and abusing the SU allowing us to buy kit by goign to invest in 37/44 pat webbing...
Hopefully will get to one in Oct ![]()
Anyway, hi from me and the second airsofter from Swansea Uni to take up WW2 airsfot... I will definately not be the last ![]()
Welcome to the forum, nice to see another Brit
As to the internals for an enfield I'd recommend you stick to bolt action as it's more realistic, probably the best donor gun to use is the J BAR 10 it's cheap and reliable and I believe vsr compatable

Yeah, was thinking M14 for standard skirmishes (bolt action for weekenders) because most local sites have a limit of 350fps it'd need something to get the edge in those games (350 AEG/sniper).
Welcome to the forum Swiper, good to see student loans being used for something essential (WW2 airsoft) instead of a luxury (booze)! ![]()

hello and welcome ![]()

Hmmm, I know a few Lovatt Scout re-enactors... I wonder if they're the same ones...

You want to get a No4 anyway (deac) and then something else for airsoft... You wouldn't want a Bren to lug around and only one in every 10 men is needed anyway.

Don't bother with 44 pat webbing... not unless you want to do post war stuff, it wasn't used much at all in WW2.
Hi Swiper , welcome to the forum.
Ignore Rich - if you want an Airsoft Bren, then go for it I say ![]()

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........
I was thinking more for lovat scouts... have whatever you want for airsoft.
Musing on comissioning a blank firing Enfield (due to still having to live at home out of term time) for Lovat scouts or getting the Bren a sniper scope!
Airsoft bren is something I've always wanted, but never had the money to do ![]()
Welcome to the forum and WWII airsoft. ![]()
