Hi everyone, my friend and I have been looking into WWII airsoft for a while now (when we should really be revising ) and I thought I would join up so we could get some tips on what equipment to get and how to get involved :D

Hi Greg & Co welcome to the forum.

There are kit guides as the top of the forum, but loads of information within the sub sections.

Any idea on which side and or country you are thinking of starting off with?

Del

Welcome to the forum Greg.

My best advice would be to concentrate on the revising but I guess that would fall on deaf ears

Lots of friendly, knowledgeable people here - read a bit first, get some ideas, read a bit more, then ask for help if you need it.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I'm hoping to play as a Brit, specifically as a member of the 52nd Lowland Division as shown in the kit guides section.
Out of interest, are the units shown in the kit guides section the only units available for play?

Thanks, Greg

Hi Gregg, welcome to the forum!

Regarding uniforms, its a case of choose what you want to portray - though there are some impressions that will be frowned upon (pretty easy to guess which ones!). The "units" that you can see on this forum are groups of people that have decided amongst themselves that they all want to portray the same unit. There is absolutely no pressure to join any of these!

When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........
