HI All

I have all ready dropped a few replies on some posts already on your forums, but i thought i had better say hello to you all officially

Ive been an Airsofter for over six years and this is the first time i have got into the WW2 side of it. I've always had a keen interest in WW1 & WW2 military history and I have served 10 years in the Infantry myself.

I played my first game - Eagle has landed, and what a day I had. It was a pleasure meeting you all and everyone was helpful and chatty. The amount of good kit and uniforms that I saw walking and playing around was a credit to you all.

The actual game was run excellent and i felt totally wrapped up in it as the events unfolded. It was also very refreshing to play a game without anyone moaning about cheating or anything like that.

Depending on my work, i will try to attend as many events as I can. Cant wait for the WAr & Peace show this year so i can pick up lots of WW2 bargins.

hope to see you all soon.

regards

Mark

You are very welcome to the forum Mark.

Glad you enjoyed TEHL - it was probably a bit of a shock to you even though you have been playing airsoft for six years! Players are what makes a game and the WW2 crowd are tip-top.

Look forward to seeing at another game soon - plenty to go at this year!

Hi Mark,

Welcome to the forum. Was good to see you, Pete and JV getting stuck in at Eagle with your usual amount of gusto! :)

Cheers, Jay.

Blimey - I'm in Wheathampstead, just the other side of St Albans.

Where do you normally go for a Sunday Skirmish (if you do, that is)?

Pleased to see a good herts turn out here. Hopefully we'll have a CIA event close to Herts, transport has always been an issue. The other half is very good, but driving to Wales and such, might be pushing it.

ha ha, I live in Croxley Green!! but until October am living in North Africa, working!! will be at Carentan in November, with a BIG coat! ha ha ha. think we need a Herts WW2 battle group! I have a workshop on a friends farm in Chandlers cross (10 mins watford, 15 mins Hemel) where i regularly test and repair kit, weapons etc, will have to meet up when i get back!!!!
Also i have a 7 seater 4x4 and usualy only myself and H are in it for events/games, so could sort lifts etc and share the fuel?
my Jeep should be finished and on the road in July, so that will be at events too!
