Hello everyone, my name is Gonçalo Ribeiro and i am from Portugal and with my wife and a friend we are trying to get started a true WWII group here in the sunny western south.
Right now we are really just starting, and will (hopefully) host a game in May.
allready looked at the forum and resources and i have to congratulate you guys, since it is all very simple, compreensive and easy to understand, thus i would like, with permission, to use some of the texts and fotos available here to build up our own site and Forum to help Portuguese players to put up their Kits as accurately and cheap as possible 
Also as soon as the place is decent to visit i will post here the Url so you can check it out, it will be a Portuguese Forum but posts in other languages are accepted (English, Francais or Castelhano).

Welcome, friend - what's your impression(s)?
Right now me and my wife will go for US Paras since that is what we have the weapons for.
After that we will make Brit Para and/or German SS or Falshimjagger.
The thing is i am a bit of a collector too so i will add to my Airsoft Gun Collection and will make the Uniform and Webbing collection too, and the Modern stuff does not really click my button .... so WWII looks nice and will also mean a change in the usual Paintball like games that people host here.
So our main trouble will be to change the minds of people to embrace the role-play aspect of this and to make them understand that they will need to start to think in a different way in the games; also the difference between the usual 2-10Ha game area to a 250-500+ game areas will also make a fuss.
For the cherry on top the fact that people do not ever pay to play and will need to start to do so .... well we have a hefty task and a long road ahead
