My names Steve, I may or may not been known to some of you (Guy certainly does....poor fella.....), I've been softing for about 14 months and am currently a member of the IED organisers team (I make the brews..... 
), anyways I've promised Guy that i will behave myself on this forum and I will hold to that.....however should i step out of line feel free to abuse me.....(used to it at IED.....)
I'm based in shropshire (Shifnal) so fairly central and although I'm into my future war Milsim, I have to say i'm getting more and more interested in what WWII re-enactment / airsofting is about......huge fan of War films (was bought up on the things...), Books, old "Commando" comics...oh yes....Wild river fly fishing (yes Guy...yawn...I know)...oh and photography.....(about 25 years experience...some semi pro fashion gigs etc...which I mentioned and now I've just been dic......erm started doing Photo's for IED for the website etc....but do like my arty shots)....so...
I will be on site this weekend, but cos of me gammy leg (Damaged my sciatic nerve not acting my age...apparently) I will be working strictly as a admin role for IED, so will not be dressed for the part (sorry.....), I will still be in green...however I will be limping about with my camera taking lots of Photo's, and on occasion will be in your face's ( I like faces......)....so either say hello...or alternativly pis.....sorry!...sorry!.......I mean go away, if you don't want your piccie took....... 
....can't miss me.....big fella (but i'm on a diet...), large flat ears (more african than indian elephant), lots of teeth (LOTS of teeth... 
), sparkling blue eyes.....and a black country accent thick enough to make Professor Higgins eyes water.....

I don't think you will find any WW2 'softer who will refuse to have photos tooked, more posers than err one of your 'semi pro fashion gigs'. (Trouble is it takes hours of retouching to make this lot half presentable.

Welcome to our neck of the woods . You find Rupe and Greg here occasionally as well, and Peppered, Barrie and Anne were my PSF at Headlight .
Go for the WWII , it's slower , more grown up and a shed more fun than most other forms of the sport , although you have been spoilt by starting off at IED .
Browse and enjoy , and get the old Gariboldi King to sign up as well !

trouble is I don't actually know what side i'm keen on.......being an ex-tankie i'd like to go down that route somehow, possibly German....but I would look just a tad out of place as tank crew and no panzer......

so......think i'll wait and see how the weekend unfolds.....certainly like the grown up approach, these youngster just don't understand me......then again perhaps i'm getting old....
