The WW2 Airsoft forum
Hello and welcome to the WW2 Airsoft forum. No matter whether you've found us by accident, are thinking about getting into airsoft from re-enacting or are a keen airsofter considering WW2, we're sure you'll find plenty of interest within these threads.

"Chomley-Warner" (David) is the forum administrator. In addition, each forum section has it's own dedicated forum moderator making a moderator team of fifteen or so. The various shops and airsoft site site forums also have their own mods.

Please note that the WW2 Airsoft forum expects registered users to post responsibly and thoughtfully.
This forum is read by people all over the world and has a high reputation which we would like to maintain.
Text speak, over-abbreviated words, capitalised text and unpunctuated text is not only very hard to read it is impossible for search engines to make use of.

Please respect your fellow forum users - forum moderators with be warning transgressors which we hope will do the trick, if not then persistent abusers will be issued temporary bans.

Please feel free to say hello in the intro threads:

The forum is pretty informal in rules. Please try to be positive in posting rather than negative, especially if people are asking advice regarding their impressions. Other than that ... Welcome from the WW2 Airsoft forum team.

If you're looking for advice on getting a WWII set of kit together please check out the uniform guides. They will help you looking fit for 1944 without having to break the bank: have a look at the Kit Guides on the menu bar above. The various subforums are also a mine of info.

WW2 Airsoft is exactly what it says on the tin. Airsoft in WW2 type clothing and equipment. However, that does not that mean you have to go out and spend £400 on all the equipment all at once before you can get out on the WW2 skirmish battlefield.

At many events players choose their own level of kit realism - which can be from the simple "counts as" system right up to a 100% accurate reproduction of clothing and equipment from the period. Some events have a stricter dress code. It's up to you to choose what level you want to start at, and not up to others to tell you what you should be wearing. Remember, this is Airsoft, so lining the enemy up in your sights, and fighting for the whole day is at the heart of the experience.

And don't worry about coming on your own - the WW2 community is friendly and inclusive. It won't be many minutes before you are at the front line, shoulder to shoulder with the most battle hardened! Some players choose to join groups (you may see banners on their forum signatures) but there is nothing wrong with being your own man - be a team player and that's all that matters.
